Move with Pride: Kettlebell Workshop

Whether you are a beginner or seasoned pro, you are welcome here to have some fun with our introductory Kettle Bell workshop. Open to members and allies of the 2SLGBTQ+ community!

Come with a sense of curiosity. Enjoy movement. Try a 'ting with a new tool, (or refine your skills). 

Focus areas:

  • Strength training tailored to diverse body types
  • Self-love and self-care through physical movement
  • Guided KB exercises / routines
  • Mindfulness and breathing techniques integrated with movement.

Meet Coach DBell

Deniece (D) Bell is a lifelong learner, committed to holding space for people to feel heard, valued, and challenged. Currently pursuing a master's in Kinesiology, with an emphasis on equity in sport, Coach D has been a part of several initiatives and research projects. As an Anti-Racism Program and Events Developer at the University of Toronto, they are focused on anti-racism in sport, rethinking fitness with a decolonizing lens, and advocating for the inclusion and nurturing of equity seeking groups (BIPOC and LGBTQ2i+ folk) in the fitness world and beyond. D has been teaching and coaching for over 20 years. 

 

 

 

 

 

Meet Coach Damali

Damali Fraiser (she/her/hers) is a Canadian Kettlebell Instructor, Nutrition Coach, and author passionate about exploring fitness from an intersectional lens. Founder of Lift Off Strength & Wellness Damali is a compassionate coach and student of strength who teaches hardstyle kettlebell technique, inclusive fitness and sustainable nutrition that supports you in meeting you wherever you are and confidently moving forward to where you want to be.
